How do we become more psychic?
This question I’m often asked was answered by Edgar Cayce, one of the most documented psychics in history. If you want to be more psychic, he said, become more spiritual, and the psychic will appear as an off-shoot. Do not, he warned, pursue the psychic as an end in itself.
How do we become more spiritual and more in tune psychically? Meditation is the common denominator recommended in all the systems. Which meditation is best? Probably the one you do. However, some simple entrances to the altered states: watching the breath, chanting, music, and art.
I like to use a mantra, such as the universal Hum So. Breathing in hum and breathing out so. When your mind wanders into busy directions, simply bring it back to the mantra. Keep it simple. Set a timer for 20 minutes (that might be your goal,)
