What Is Liminal Space? And Who Is In It?
Some people think of it as that time between sleep and wake, when we’re not fully in one world or another, a kind of dreamy place. In between:
When you fall ill, lose your savings, your lover, your belief system, your direction, whatever you held onto or thought you couldn’t live without…Now you are adrift.
You haven’t reached the certainty of a new shore and you can’t hold onto the old one (the past) no matter how hard you try. You’re in the land of the liminal, in the heart of the soul.
What happens next? First we immerse where we are. We allow what is to be. (Part II to follow.)
