Light shimmers through the windswept trees, and allows me to see with new eyes. I am blessed in this moment where blessings abound. Deep inner peace guides me to better and better times.
Something miraculous is at hand and I can feel it. Happiness stirs from within. Everything I need comes to me with ease. That which I seek is already mine!

Today is my birthday, a time to contemplate, celebrate, and think about consciousness. Yesterday I was reading Kabbalah and the Power of Dreaming by Catherine Shainberg.
The author suggested we make a list of everything we know we’re attracted to. Then give your list three days of breathing time (I think there was even short breathing exercise). And notice what images are missing.
Her premise is that we’re always dreaming our reality. But we each tend to create a reality that’s already familiar to us.
“Without asking our permission, the brain seems to gravitate towards certain patterns while ignoring others.”
So what are you attracted to? I like mystical texts, the color red, intelligent, creative people, and the way the light shines through spider webs.

You make your world fit into the parameters of your strange attractors. (She’s borrowed the termstrange attractors from chaos theory.)
We confine ourselves by ignoring, or simply remaining unconscious to certain images, while being drawn to our “strange attractors.”
Early imprinting has a lot to say about what we later create in the world. However, we can change that. Certain acts, such as questioning, allow us to expand our dreams and poke holes into territory that was previously closed.
