No drugs. So a magical trip tease. Suffering cancer patients were given psilocybin (Magic Mushrooms) during study trials at N.Y.U. and Johns Hopkins. I’ve been following these and other studies for years. The majority of those patients experienced miraculous states of bliss, a sense of oneness with the universe, and deep love that didn’t disappear when the drug wore off.
Can we get there without drugs? The mystics say yes. Deep meditation. The trance state. Or those peak moments that simply happen. Studies have been done on how to get them to happen.
Why? Because must of us live in a state of chaos, searching for momentary happiness, instant gratification (if only instant were fast enough). But the mystics tell us there’s more. Do you want it?
Taking drugs is still an iffy prospect. Plus these mushrooms are still illegal in the states. What if you could get this deep connection, sense of oneness, purpose, and love without having to find a dealer? Without having to pay big money and figure out the proper dose and perfect situation?
Take a trip with me?
April 29th. I’m going to open up the ethers and rattle regular space. I’m going to transmit energy and call us into the trance.
What about you? Care to come along?
While it’s possible to have a bad trip on mushrooms, you won’t have to worry about that. You just show up as you are and open your mind to receive. You’ll even be guided on how to do that.
Patients in the studies overwhelming reported positive experiences. This may be because they were provided with well-trained therapists who walked them through the process. For example, if a patient hit up against fear, the therapist encouraged them to shine a light straight into it, into the darkest corner of the darkest basement.
The guide reminded them to ask questions, such as: What can I learn from you? What are you doing in my mind?
I will be your guide and we can use those questions too. As I tune in to each person on the call, I tune my questions to your needs.
There’s no limit to what you can see. One cancer patient remarked that “even the germs are beautiful.” Suddenly he registered the world as beautiful and it was a sense that stayed with him long after the study concluded. They call it a kind of reverse PTSD. Here the positive memories remained…the sense of safety and an all-encompassing vision of oneness.
“I reach out and touch everyone I’ve ever known,” another patient said. A breast cancer-survivor imagined seeing her own death, after which her expanded mind followed her ashes into the wet ground. “I’m seeing trees growing, and I’m part of them…I wasn’t gone. I was part of the earth.”
In the hospital studies, fear of death diminishes or disappears completely. One person reported seeing his cancer as a small impediment. We will enter a transcendent state where one patient said, “love seemed to emanate from a single point of light. And it vibrated…Nothing during my time on earth has felt as pure and joyful and glorious.”
